The first (and my most loved) is doll making.
I started
making cloth dolls about 6 years ago. Then I graduated into making
porcelain dolls, and now I
even sculpt my own dolls!
What started out as a part
time hobby for me,
has turned into the love of my life.
(My Husband really does come first :o))
I hope
you take a peek at my Doll House to see my work. I make dolls on order,
choice of hair and eye color. Also choice of costume.
If you would like more information, please email me.
Another craft I enjoy is to make child size Carousel
Horses.
They are very challenging and no two are
the same.
They range in sizes of 24 to 27 inch for the
smaller, and 27 to 33 inches for the larger ones. They
stand on
either 4 or 6 foot solid oak poles and have
a brass base. To date I have only sold these at
craft shows, and to friends.
They are definately too
large to mail.
If you are interested in
learning more
about them, then email me.
The last item you will find here is about my family
lineage.
I got interested in doing genealogy a
few years ago. And although
I find it frustrating
at times, I also find it worth all my trouble
when I
hit pay dirt! Please take the time to check out
my direct lineage to John Clough of Salisbury Plains,
MA.
Who knows, we could be related!
Coming soon ~ Pictures of my rendition of John & Jane Clough
hand sculpted dolls! Check back at the end of July, first of August.
